The tour begins in the city of Riohacha at 8 AM. The first stop is Manaure, a small fishing village famous for its natural and colorful salt flats. The extraction of its salt is around 70% of all Colombia. After a short technical stop in Uribia, you will arrive at Cabo de la Vela just in time for a delicious lunch on the beach. In the afternoon you will visit the tourist attractions of: Punta Arcoíris, Pilón de Azúcar, Playa Ojo de Agua and the Lighthouse, where you can enjoy one of its famous sunsets.
On the second day of the tour, the journey to Punta Gallinas begins passing through the Jepirachi Wind Farm, Bahia Portete and Bahia Honda until reaching the northernmost point of Colombia. Here you can enjoy the Taroa Dunes, a masterpiece of nature where, in addition to contemplating and bathing in the Caribbean waters, you can rent Sandboarding boards and ATVs with locals in the area. Finally, you will pass by the emblematic Punta Gallinas Lighthouse and then arrive at the Ranchería de LuzMila with a spectacular view over Bahia Hondita and end the day under a sky full of stars.
The third day is the return trip, leaving at 8 am to be able to start the route again until reaching Uribia (Indigenous Capital of Colombia) for a last lunch and to admire handicrafts made by the Wayuu. Arrival time to the city of Riohacha is around 4 pm.

They estimate the extraction is around 70% of the salt consumed in Colombia. After a quick stop in Uribia, you’ll reach Cabo de la Vela just in time for a tasty lunch by the beach. In the afternoon you’ll visit the following attractions: Punta Arco Iris, Pilon de Azucar, Playa Ojo de Agua, and El Faro (the lighthouse), before closing the day with one of its famous sunsets.
After breakfast the proper journey into the Alta Guajira region begin stopping by few remarkable viewpoints until reaching the remote town of Nazareth for lunch. After recharging some energy you'll go to the office of La Macuira National Park for a quick briefing with a local guide who will explain the unusual vegetation that makes the park home of numerous species of birds and animals. The guide will then accompaing you for a 2 hours walk into the reserve until reaching the hidden dunes and then back another 2 hours (approx) to the starting point.
Few hours in the car after leaving Nazareth and you'll be reaching Punta Gallinas just in time for a tasty lunch. In the afternoon you'll be able to enjoy the massive dunes of Taroa, such a beautiful and unique landscape (a masterpiece of nature!) before ending the day by the lighthouse (the actual northernmost point of South America).
